Ondoy Can Suck It!

September 30, 2009

It’s been a few months since I last posted in this blog. And unfortunately, this post will be about a tragedy.

As most of people in Metro Manila, me and my family was among the victims of Typhoon Ondoy that hit NCR and nearby provinces. Our house was submerged in murky water knee-deep. But worse was the family of my baby in Angono who as of this post still has their house covered in mud after flood got into the second floor of their home.

With the death toll reaching to 240+, people are yet to recover from this tragedy. But of course, this too will be a reminder to everyone that when nature shows its wrath, it ain’t going to be pretty.

This post is dedicated to all the victims of Typhoon Ondoy, especially to all the lives that were lost.

Those incompetent fools!!!

Details, next post!

Yup, that’s you Chip Tsao. You fucking racist bitch. You don’t even know what you’re saying. Not all Filipinos are slave or servant just like what you think. Most Pinoys are actually accomplished individuals in their own fields. There are successful Filipino businessmen, educators, doctors, lawyers, writers, artists, etc. But you wouldn’t know that because you are too busy fucking your own ass with your little tool not even remotely possible to be considered a penis. Not just because there are Filipinos working as domestic helpers in your country means that all Filipinos are slaves of Chinese people like you. If that’s the case, then I guess all Chinese people are stupid bigots like you. People who doesn’t even know what proper logic is. And oh, I guess all Chinese people are also retards who poison babies with milk they make. But I know that that is not the case. Because there are only SOME Chinese people who are like that, and not all. And with that simple logic, don’t you fucking ever think that you can consider Filipinos as your slaves. And Chinese people, and other races for that matter, should never ever assume that the Filipino race is inferior to you. I am not the type of person who easily gets offended with racial comments, because I myself enjoy the occasional funny remarks about Filipinos. But actually stating that Filipinos are low-life people and considering it as a fact just, as you wanna put it because of your lack of proper English skills, makes my blood boil. Who says that? No one uses those words anymore, you stupid imbecile. And as an ender to this not-so important post for you:

To all the haters, especially you Chip Tsao, the most ignorant bastard that ever lived, FUCK YOU! I am proud to be a Filipino.

Ako ay Pilipino

Ako ay Pilipino
Ang dugo’y maharlika
Likas sa aking puso
Adhikaing kay ganda
Sa Pilipinas na aking bayan
Lantay na Perlas ng Silanganan
Wari’y natipon ang kayamanan ng Maykapal

Bigay sa ‘king talino
Sa mabuti lang laan
Sa aki’y katutubo
Ang maging mapagmahal

Ako ay Pilipino,
Ako ay Pilipino
Isang bansa isang diwa
Ang minimithi ko
Sa Bayan ko’t Bandila
Laan Buhay ko’t Diwa
Ako ay Pilipino,
Pilipinong totoo
Ako ay Pilipino,
Ako ay Pilipino
Taas noo kahit kanino
Ang Pilipino ay Ako!

Society and You

September 12, 2008

They say that you can judge a society by how they treat those that are worst off. But is the opposite true? That you can judge a society by how it treat its best?

– Michael Moore, from the film “SiCKO”

The People vs. Larry Flynt

More details, here.

One thing: after watching this movie, I wanna be like Larry Flynt. Not his being a pervert, that is. I wanna be like him because he is a type of man who knows what he wants and gets what he wants. And through this movie, everyone will be able to know the man behind probably the most controversial publication in the history of pornography. Love the performance of Woody Harrelson. And Courtney Love… Umm, let’s just say that I certainly am changing my mind about that crazy lady. And damn, she’s fucking hot!

Batch ’81

More details, here.

Isa sa mga paborito kong Pinoy film, done by the master Mike de Leon. Tungkol ang pelikulang ito sa isang grupo ng college students na sumasailalim sa isang mahirap, nakakahiya at life-changing initiation process ng isang fraternity. I’ve watched this movie a few times na rin ang everytime I watch it, meron akong napupulot.

Sakal, Sakali, Saklolo

More details, here.

Though I haven’t seen the first movie of this Franchise, Kasal, Kasali Kasalo, I kinda liked this movie. The highlight of the movie is actually Gina Pareno, who played the mother of Judy Ann’s character. I love bototay! HAHAHA! Medyo different din yung storytelling ng pelikula.

Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle

Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay

More details, here and here.

A two-part movie (that is obviously not shown in near succession), these movies tell the adventures and misadventures of two stoners, Harold and Kumar. Medyo typical yung pelikula sa mga “college-boys” movies like American Pie and others because it pretty much show that no matter how crazy people can get, pag nagsimula na silang magseryoso sa buhay makukuha na nila yung gusto nila at maabot na nila ang kanilang mga goals. But may I say na nakakatawa pa rin yung pelikula kahit medyo gasgas na yung ibang mga jokes (which are mostly fart jokes na usually will be offensive to some people). Highly recommended to crazy people like me, but not to those too conservative or tight-asses, if you will.

Zeitgeist: The Movie

More details, here.

A very different and brave documentary that basically says that we, as people, have been screwed over far too many times by people who have the money and power and that we should stand up to those bastards for messing with us in the forst place. Yung movie is divided into three parts. Yung una tells the story of how Christianity is a big lie, especially its central figure, Jesus Christ who is only a fiction of imagination and also a literary plagiarism. The second deals with the 9/11 Myth and how Americans and the whole world were made to believe of some imaginary terrorists to make everyone afraid so they can be controlled. The last part is about the Central Bank and its plans to overthrow everything in this world to make it one superpower that basically controls everything on the planet. What I can say about the film? FUCKING AWESOME! Dapat mapanood ito ng bawat isang nilalang na nakatira sa mundo, ano pa man ang kulay, lahi, lenggwahe, edad, sekswalidad at relihiyon niya. This movie is kinda like a test to one’s faith his/her beliefs. Highly recommended!
