It’s been a really good performance for the Philippine Team sa mga international tournament na nasalihan natin. Sa FIBA Asia, we beat China and I think that is one hell of a great feat by itself. Hindi man tayo nakapag-advance sa second round kasi natalo tayo sa Iran at Jordan, I still believe that those guys like Asi Taulava and Jimmy Alapag deserve a heroes welcome from all of us. If we still believe, the Philippines can still do it.

Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!!!

For the Philippine Team…

I’ve paid my dues
Time after time
I’ve done my sentence
But committed no crime
And bad mistakes
I’ve made a few
and I’ve had my share of sand
Kicked in my face
But I’ve come through
And I need to go on and on and on and on

We are the champions – my friends
And we’ll keep on fightin’ till the end
We are the champions
We are the champions
No time for losers
‘Cause we are the champions of the world

I’ve taken my bows
And my curtain calls
You’ve brought me fame and fortune
And everything that goes with it
I thank you all
But it’s been no bed of roses no pleasure cruise
and I consider it a challenge before human race
That I ain’t gonna lose
And I need to go on and on and on and on

We are the champions – my friends
And we’ll keep on fightin’ till the end
We are the champions
We are the champions
No time for losers
‘Cause we are the champions of the world

We are the champions – my friends
And We’ll keep on fightin’ till the end
We are the champions
We are the champions
No time for losers
‘Cause we are the champions

There are so many raves about GMA Films first horror flick, Ouija. And what do I have to say about this after watching the movie. Well, they really are right that this is the first for them because there are so many rookie mistakes on it that I really think that it sucks. I felt that this film was just getting it’s credit for all the hype people are building for it. Technically, the movie is a big flop. For a horror flick, Ouija tends to be very dark. I know that it could have been a tool for the so-called scare factor but it didn’t help. I wasn;t even scared one bit because all they did was copy all sorts of scare tactics from different Asian horror thrillers like The Ring, The Eye, The Grudge and Shutter. Copycat is an understatement for this movie. And being dark, hindi lang sa mga supposedly nakakatakot na scenes. Halos yung buong pelikula ay isang madilim na eksena, kahit the scen calls for a morning external shot.

Yung scare nga, walang wala. And they say that this film is better than Sukod. I don’t think so. You’ll say na may bias ako pero I don’t I like Juday and Jolina as actresses and I hate Kris Aquino. Pero I still find the acting of these young stars lacking. I was shocked that Juday can only that much to think she has been winning all kinds of acting awards. And don’t even get me started with Rhian and Iza. Both just sucked.

And the twist they have been bragging about. Well, it got me excited kasi they ended it right there. Bitin yung pelikula at very much GMA-isque. They are just planning to do a sequel to rip us off of our money. Stop fooling the people. Sana lang if you say na you’ll have a good movie, at least make it a decent one.

Regarding the comment posted by one of the visitors of this blog, named “stupid you,” on my post 1-0 ADMU Won Over DLSU. I will allow your post even though you called me a moron. Sana lang you should think first kasi antanga ng sinasabi mo. I don’t even know how to pass? eh you don’t even know me. Tsaka were you watching the goddamn game? Anong nakita mo? Anong school ka ba? DLSU o ADMU? Whichever it is, clear lang na bobo ka. This is my last post about your stupid comment. I certainly hope you continue to visit my blog para magkaroon pa ako ng clue kung nasaan ka. I can track you down, you sick motherfucker!

Because I’m watching the series Heroes. Season 1 pa nga lang.

My Hero

Too alarming now to talk about
Take your pictures down
and shake it out
Truth or consequence, say it aloud
Use that evidence race it around

There goes my hero
Watch him as he goes
There goes my hero
He’s ordinary

Don’t the best of them bleed it out
While the rest of them peter out
Truth or consequence, say it aloud
Use that evidence race it around

There goes my hero
Watch him as he goes
There goes my hero
he’s ordinary

Kudos my hero
Leaving all the best
You know my hero
The one that’s on

There goes my hero
Watch him as he goes
There goes my hero
He’s ordinary

Why Can’t We…

share
– Verb

1. To give part of what one has to somebody else to use or consume.
2. To have in common

The concept is very simple, pero bakit hindi natin magawa.

Buto’t Balat…

July 28, 2007

Naalala ko lang, I was able to watch Sine Totoo last Saturday which showed Kara David’s docu “Buto’t Balat.” I thought malnutrition is not that big of a problem for Filipinos unlike the people of Africa.
