Fast Review: Probably one of those film that started the so-called “Indie Boom” (this one and “Ang Pagdadalaga ni Maximo Oliveros”), Big Time is about two small-time crooks who are just sick and tired of their life and wants to go “big time”. Pero dahil sa katangahan din nila, sumablay yung plano nilang i-kidnap ang isang babae. Because of this, they were trapped in a really big mess concerning a mafia-type personality because of some twisted fate. Nakakatawa yung movie and its way of sharing some info about Philippines pop culture. A good movie for those who like to watch something a bit different from the usual mainstream bullshit.

Fast Review: The prequel to the movie “Sakal, Sakali, Saklolo” which basically tackled the hardship experienced by new couples. And just like the other movie, I also like this one because of its light treatment on the subject that is usually a serious topic pagdating sa ibang pelikula. And also because of Gina Pareno, again! Medyo mas maayos ang storytelling nitong kesa dun sa pangalawa, which is I think went overboard with trying to be different. Sorry dahi medyo abnoy akong manoog ng pelikula, pero I recommend everyone to watch this one. And the other one of course.

Fast Review: I basically just watched this movie because Tina Fey, a huge crush of mine is one of the main character. Though I may say that this is one funny movie, I didn’t like it that much kasi medyo magulo yung story. In fact, medyo mabagal yung takbo ng pelikula. But upon the climax of the film, parang naging masyado nama siyang mabilis kaya medyo mawawala ka sa panonood dito. Nakakatawa din naman yun jokes because let’s face it, it has Tina and Amy Poehler, two SNL veterans in the billing. If you wanna laugh, this is a good watch. But if you are looking for a good movie, this is probably not for you.

Fast Review: I know, I know. I am such a huge sucker for chick flick. I don’t know why pero I enjoy watching them. But not this one. Sobrang cliche na talaga ng lahat nga nangyari dito. Guy has a bestfriend whom he doesn’t really care tha much about. Bestfriend has been having a feeling towards the guy but still keeps it from him kasi he’s a womanizer. But upon finding out that bestfriend is getting married, guy realizes that he is indeed not complete with his bestfriend. So this film is pretty much like every chick flick about a guy in the quest for his girl, minus the comedy part. Medyo corny yung pelikula, that is why hindi ko siya nagustuhan. Chick flicks are supposed to be funny, right?
