I’m Back But Not For Good

After a very long weekend of being sick including two days of being absent from work, I am back at the office but still not feeling well. But I need to get back to work or else I might end up losing all my pay for this period. FUCK! Too many tasks that I need to get back to and I hate rushing. That is why I hate being sick. Why can’t those genius just invent or discover the cure for the common cold. DAMN!

Fast Review: I actually decided to watch this movie because Bobby Lee is on it. And sadly, he didn’t have that much participation on the film. But still, this movie with Jamie Kennedy on the helm, still managed to garner a few laughs from me. Nakakatuwa lang din kasi medyo nostalgic yung movie of the 80s, which to me is the best time for the kids with all the awesome music, TV, movies and basically pop culture.

Fast Review: Finally napanood ko na din ang pelikulang ito ni jeff Jeturian. I’ve actually had plans to watch this obra a few times already in the past, including yung mga screenings niya sa different film festivals. Pero laging merong alberya. And now that I was able to grab a copy, napanood ko na nga. I actually loved the movie, especially the eerie feeling everytime the dead soldier comes up. Though medyo sablay yung technicals nung film, nadala talaga nung acting especially of Gina Pareno. Sa technicals, the only thing I liked was the fact that there are so many long takes na ginagawang one shot which is very difficult, granting na yung location is some slum area like that. But still, they were able to pull it off. Probably napanood na ito ng karamihan, pero sa mga hindi pa nakakapanood, I definitely recommend you watching this one. A different Gina Pareno that everyone will surely fall in love to…

Best Birthday Yet!

Nakakapagod yung past weekend. I had to “celebrate” my 24th birthday (yup, 24 and counting. getting old, waaah!!!). Well, hindi naman siya actually a celebration kasi hindi naman madami ang involved na tao. In fact, family lang with my baby. Sa bahay lang, with some food. That’s it. Pero it is now one of the best days in my life because I got to spend it with people I care about. And also, I got all the things I’ve been planning to buy for a long time now. Of course, thanks much to my baby who made it happen. I’m so psyched right now kasi I also realized that I am set to live my life because my baby will always be there for me.
