Fast Review: The movie is about a writer who recently lost his wife and has a dilemma about his moving forward with life. And that “moving on” involved adopting a child, who turns out to be a kid with a condition where he thinks he’s from Mars. Medyo madrama yung pelikula for my taste, though may touch ng konting comedy, which I really liked. Not the typical mushy flick pero I guarantee this is also something worth watching for those who like mushy flicks. Love the acting of John Cusack who played the lead role. And also yung bata who played the title role. All in all, I recommend this film, sakto sa mga maulan na araw gaya today for just bumming around sa bahay habang walang magawa.

Fast Review: A movie about revenge and how it eats up an individual. A man was imprisoned for 15 years, then released for some reason. But it turns out, his cell was just turned into a bigger one, which is the world he’s about to embark on. I’ve actually watched this movie a couple of years ago already. Just had the chance to download a copy so I watched it again. And just like the first time I watched Old Boy, namangha ulit ako. The story, very original. The twists, hindi pilit. The actors, very believable. Technicals, superb. Everything about this movie is awesome, added to that the fact na meron siyang shock factor dahil sa gore na included. Highly recommended!

South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut

Fast Review: Hey, it’s South Park. And just like the TV show, it’s kinda like an experiment on how far one can take being rude and nasty while still being funny. Medyo luma na yung pelikula which goes back into 1999 pero it was the first time na napanood ko ito. I’m a big South Park fan (though not as big as being a Simpsons fan) and I love Cartman. Anyway, sobrang nakakatawa yung pelikula which tackles on censorship and how stupid people who implement them are. One important thing that everyone can learn from this movie is that most people are bunch of hypocrites na puro paninisi lang sa iba ang kayang gawin pag may mga bagay na nagugulo o nasisira. Basically, the movie tells us to look first at ourselves before we start bashing other people. I actually don’t recommend this movie to everyone lalo na sa masyadong mga sensitive at masyadong religious because of the theme of the movie. Pero if you just wanna laugh and have a good time, then watch at your own risk. HAHAHAHA!!!
