Song of the Day – Pantera’s 5 Minutes Alone
June 27, 2008
Huhuhu…
5 Minutes Alone
I see you had your mind all made up you group of
Pitiful liars. Before I woke to face the day, your master
Plan transpired. -Something told me- this job had more to
Meet the eye. My song is not believed? My words some-
What deceiving? Now I’m unwhole.
You’ve waged a war of nerves
But you can’t crush the kingdom
Can’t be what your idols are. Can’t leave the scar.
You cry for compensation. I ask you please just give us…
5 minutes alone
I read your eyes, your mind was made up. You took me for
A fool. You used complexion of my skin for a counter
Rascist tool. -You can’t burn me- I’ve spilled my guts out
In the past. Taken advantage of because you know where
I’ve come [from]. My past.
You’ve waged a war of nerves
But you can’t crush the kingdom
Can’t be what your idols are. Can’t leave the scar.
You cry for compensation. I ask you please just give us…
5 minutes alone

Song of the Day – Chicago’s Will You Still Love Me
June 26, 2008
For my baby…
Will You Still Love Me
Take me as I am
Put your hand in mine
Now and forever
Darling here I stand
Stand before you now
Deep inside I always knew
It was you
You and me
Two hearts drawn together
Bound by destiny
It was you
And you for me
Every road leads to your door
Every step I take
Forever more
Just say you’ll love me for the rest of your life
I gotta lot of love and I don’t want to let go
Will you still love me for the rest of my life?
’cause I can’t go on
No, I can’t go on
I can’t go on
If I’m on my own
Take me as I am
Put your heart in mine
Stay with me forever
‘Cause I am just a man
Who never understood
I never had a thing to prove
‘Till there was you
You and me
Then it all came clear so suddenly
How close to you that I wanna be
Just say you’ll love me for the rest of your life
I gotta lot of love and I don’t want to let go
Will you still love me for the rest of my life?
‘Cause I can’t go on
No, I can’t go on
I can’t go on
If I’m on my own
Do you believe a love could run so stong?
Do you believe a love could pass you by?
There was no special one for me
I was the lovely one, you see
But then my heart lost all control
Now you’re all that I know
Just say you’ll love me for the rest of your life
I gotta lot of love and I don’t want to let go
Will you still love me for the rest of my life?
‘Cause I can’t go on (I can’t go on)
No, I can’t go on
I can’t go on
If I’m on my own
I can’t go on (I can’t go on)
No, I can’t go on
‘Cause I can’t go on (Will you still love me?)
No, I can’t go on (Just say you love me)
Can’t go on
Without somebody I can call my own
‘Cause I can’t go on (Will you still love me?)
No, I can’t go on (Just say you love me)
(Stay around) Can’t go on
‘Cause I can’t go on (Will you still love me?)
No, I can’t go on (Just say you love me)
Can’t go on
If you could say your love
‘Cause I can’t go on (Will you still love me?)
No, I can’t go on (Just say you love me)
(Stay around) Can’t go on
You’ll never be alone

- what if I die today, will people cry?
- will I look good on liquid latex?
- can I actually live up to my 50’s?
- when will I be able to punch an effing celebrity on the face for being so stupid?
- can I actually kill someone in the name of love or friendship?
- what if I’m not this fat, what things would be different?
- do people really care about the world?
- when will I stop?
Song of the Day – Dimmu Borgir’s The Serpentine Offering

The Serpentine Offering
My descent is the story of everyman
I am hatred, darkness and despair
My descent is the story of everyman
I am hatred, darkness and despair
Evoked and entertained through centuries
Wrathful and sullen–dormant still
The ferocity pervades everywhere
Waiting to be released at last
Hear my offering
Ye bastard sons and daughters
Share my sacrifice
Share my sacrifice
My descent is the story of everyman
I am hatred, darkness and despair
My descent is the story of everyman
I am hatred, darkness and despair
Reconcile not with the fear of the snake
But embrace it as your own
Inject its venom into your veins
And replant the seed that gives growth
Still shrouded in mystery
Until you arise above perception
A veil of ignorance is emotion
Continuing throughout generations
The snake is notoriously tempting
But the snake is fair
What is worse than not knowing?
To live or disappear?
The ferocity pervades everywhere
Waiting to be released at last
Hear my offering
Ye bastard sons and daughters
Share my sacrifice
Share my sacrifice

Another About HOPE!
June 24, 2008
You’re afraid of change. You’ll rather imagine that you can escape, instead of actually try. ‘Cause if you fail, then you’ll have nothing. So you give up the chance of something real, so you can hold on to hope. The thing is, HOPE is for sissies.

Song of the Day – Amber’s Manila
June 24, 2008
Happy Manila Day sa lahat ng Manilenyo!
Manila
(Take me back to the place I love
Take me back to the place I love, uhuh uhuh huh
Take me back to the place I love
Take me back to the place I love, uhuh uhuh)
I remember when were kids
Having barbeques in the bukid
When the brownouts came, we were never alone
We just played in the streets till the lights came on
Six o’clock in the mornin’
Bakery just opened
We can smell the bread, it was cooking from a mile away
Ain’t nothing like a fresh piece to start your day in…
CHORUS
Manila (Manila, Manila)
I’m comin’ back to Manila
(The only place that I call home, home)
I’m comin’ back to…
Manila (Manila, Manila)
I’m comin’ back to Manila
(The only place that I call home, home)
Signal to the jeepney (pick me up)
Take me to the place where (I grew up)
Back to the kids in the park where we played all day
Some had a shed for a home but it was all okay
‘Cause in Manila, we’re all the same
Everybody’s waiting for things to change
In the barrio, that’s how it is
We didn’t care much ’cause we were kids, oh
CHORUS
(Manila, Manila)
I’m comin’ back to Manila
(The only place that I call home, home)
I’m comin’ back to…
Manila (Manila, Manila)
I’m comin’ back to Manila
(The only place that I call home, home)
RAP
I’ve been gone for a minute but I’m on the next flight
And the plane man says we can make it by night
Can’t wait to touch down in my old hometown
Had a girl, we used to kick it but I doubt she’s still around, yoh
It’s all good ’cause I’m back in the jungle
Where the girls in bikinis all come in a bundle
And pain and poverty is everywhere
But when the smoke all clears, it’s only love in the air
I’ve been gone too long
Gone too long
I’m comin’ home (comin’ back to the place I love)
Gone too long
I’m comin’ home (comin’ back to the place I love)
I’m comin’ back to Manila
Yo yo yo yo
I say, babalik ako sa Manila, Manila
Babalik ako sa Manila, Manila
Babalik ako sa Manila, Manila
Babalik ako, babalik ako, babalik
Babalik ako sa Manila, Manila
Babalik ako sa Manila, Manila
Babalik ako sa Manila, Manila
Babalik ako, babalik ako, babalik
I’m comin’ home (Manila, Manila, Manila, Manila)
I’m comin’ back to Manila (comin’ back to the place I love)
I’m comin’ back to Manila (Manila, Manila, Manila, Manila)
I’m comin’ back to Manila (comin’ back to the place I love)
(Manila, Manila, Manila, Manila, Manila)
(Comin’ back to the place I love)
Comin’ back to the place I love
Comin’ back to the place I love
Comin’ back to the place I love

There’s a rainbow always after the storm…
June 23, 2008
Typhoon Frank devastated the Philippines, including Metro Manila. It destroyed properties and took some lives. It’s sad. But thinking about it, it’s partly our fault because we didn’t take care of the environment. This may sound like a cliche, but hopefully we all learned something about this tragedy… HOPEFULLY…
