Not Only in the Philippines
January 29, 2008
I’ve recently watched this documentary called War on Democracy. It was about the struggle of many Latin American countries against poverty and inequality, brought about the ruling class and of course, the all-so-mighty United States. And I was never able to stop thinking how odd it is that such rich countries can be so poor at the same time. Venezuela for example is one of the countries with the biggest oil reserve in the world, and yet only a few people benefit from it. In that country, just like in any country especially in the Philippines, the rich get richer and the poor gets poorer. The movie was so touching that I think it’s my responsibility to tell people to watch it also and learn from it. So go ahead, watch War on Democracy. I don’t care where you’ll get the copy. Try torrents or P2P sites. Just download it and watch the damn thing.
Here’s the trailer of that docu film…
