If You Think X’mas 2007 Rocked, Wait ’til Next Year

Medyo tinatamad pa akong mag-post. Pero mukhang wala naman akong gagawin dito sa trabaho, siguro samantalahin ko na muna ang rundown ng aking Christmas 2007… hehehe…

It started a few months ago actually, when I started shopping for gifts for my friends and relatives. Kaya eto ubos na ang pera. Me and my baby swept Divisoria and Greenhills to buy gifts for all of them. Well, at least lahat ng kaya naming regaluhan. hehehe… And as far as I can tell, I guess we did a good job.

Yung Christmas break ko from work started only last Saturday kasi may pasok pa last Friday. Though there was a Christmas party yung company two Fridays ago sa Eastwood, I just felt na malapit na talaga ang Pasko when I started not going to work. Isa sa mga agenda is to buy gifts for my baby. She have actually gave me her gifts beforehand kasi kasama akong bumili. Her gifts were an external HD and a 5.1 theater system. So I guess I have to top that. Kaya naman I decided to have her gifts in five parts. Yung first part binili namin sa Greenhills. It was a phone para naman hindi na niya kelangan paglipat-lipatin yung SIM niya. Actually, I’ve promised na ibibili ko siya nun kaya ito na yun. Then we also did some last minute shopping, which actually was our whole day. Ow, we also went to a cousin’s birthday party sa McDo, which was fun too. I guess that was a sneak peek of what Christmas 2007  will be.

The day after, I have to prepare the house for the next day, the big DAY! I cleaned my room, arranged everything and siyempre sinabay na rin yung paglalaba kasi tambak na sa kwarto. That day was just me being a chimoy. hehehe…

December 24, X’mas Eve. Nagkita ulit kami ng baby ko for her gift part 2. It was actually me finally having my hair clipped and my beard shaved. She has been wanting that so I gave in. She was kinda surprised kasi I gave a speech about me not doing it. That I will just do it when I want it done. So ayun. Then we also went to Megamall so she can have her hair done. That’s gift part 3. Kasi medyo madaming tao and hindi na kami pwedeng maghintay kasi Noche Buena na that night. So we skipped it and just went to buy cakes for her family and mine. Tapos hinatid ko na siya and help her prepare for their family X’mas party. Then I went home to do the same for our family Noche Buena. It was fun, better than  last year…

Christmas Day 2007… Masaya at makakahilo. There were so many people sa bahay na hindi ko na kilala half of them. But apparently they are relatives. Well, I don’t care about them being at the house, as long as I’m with my close cousins drinking our liver to death. hehehe… After that drinking spree, that ended lunch time for me (Yes, masyado maaga kami nagsimula), I remembered na we have a date ng baby ko. So I took a shower and hurried myself to their house in Angono. Nawala yung lasing ko kasi paspas magmaneho yung driver ng FX. Anyway, I got to their house a little more sober and we went out to watch a movie. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen kasi there were too many people sa mga sinehan, both sa SM Taytay and Sta. Lucia so we just walked around the two malls looking at how happy other people are. Masaya naman pala. That was the only time ulit na we actually went sa mall to just walk. hehehehe…

So there, that was my Christmas 2007. Masaya, nakakapagod, ubos pera pero sulit. And as me and my baby have said, Christmas 2008, HERE WE COME!!!
